27/04/04 The first of the roof trusses is lifted into place.

05/07/04 Most of the roof tiles are in place, the facing bricks have been added to the front and a start is being made to the portico.
18/08/04 Hall interior starts to take shape. This view taken from the end of the hall nearest to the river.

1/11/04 Work on the portico is nearly finished. The doors are in place and the new glass is awaited. Front steps and ramp are under construction.

12/11/04 Construction is complete and the hall awaits the official opening ceremony.
