For a year now, we have been pondering and reflecting on the Word of God in this web page. The powerful Word of God liberates all believers from the chains of sin and despair and illuminates our souls with the light, which no darkness can overpower. Therefore the Word of God, the Word which God speaks, is a powerful word.
But you must do what the Word tells you and not just listen to it and deceive yourselves. Anyone who listens to the Word and takes no action is like someone who looks at his own features in a mirror and, once he has seen what he looks like, goes off and immediately forgets it. But anyone who looks steadily at the perfect law of freedom and keeps to it - not listening and forgetting, but putting it into practice - will be blessed in every undertaking. (James 1:22)
Let each of us resolve now to live God's Word. Let the Word of God live in us and make his home in us. And may others be drawn to the Light within us. The Light which no darkness can overpower.
