CATHEDRAL EVENING PRAYER ON ST NINIANS FEAST To mark the Feast of St Ninian, Bishop Cunningham will lead sung Evening Prayer of the Church in St Margarets Cathedral, John Street, Ayr on Sunday 16 September at 7pm. You will be very welcome.
HARBOUR ARTS CENTRE On Thursday 20 September a free showing of film on the work of the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians will be shown in the Harbour Arts Centre, Harbourside. Doors open at 7pm, the film starts at 7.30pm.
AYRSHIRE PEACE GROUP On Friday 21 September, Ayrshire Peace Group have oganised an event to mark United Nations Peace Day in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock. Evening of speakers, entertainment and poetry. All welcome. Doors open at 7pm. The event runs from 7.30-9.30pm.
SINGING THE MASS
another workshop for parish musicians, cantors and people who enjoy singing will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes and St Patricks Church, Auchinleck on Saturday 22 September, beginning with lunch at 1pm to conclude with the celebration of the Vigil Mass at 6pm. ST MARYS TODDLERS NEEDS YOU! St Marys toddlers has been running successfully now for 3 years. The attendance is regularly 20 children. Due to a change in circumstances the current organizer is stepping down. We are looking for a new group leader and helpers. Please contact Fr Boyd if you are interested.
